Take it from someone who made the wrong decision. If you’re one of the growing number of people who are making the switch from cable to satellite TV, don’t just gloss over the research phase. I recently ordered satellite TV — I’m not going to tell you from who — and got royally stuck with a service I don’t want. It’s totally my fault, because I didn’t spend the time really do my Dish Network vs Direct TV research. I’m sure the service I have would be fine for someone else, but I didn’t realize that the company I chose doesn’t offer a sports package that’s really important to me. So anyway, learn from my mistake and be smart about who you choose.
