Many parents restrict their kids to refrain from fatty diets but according to some experts say they should not restrict children to fat diets because this has an important role in balance diet as they grow. What the expert’s afraid is the exposure of children to junk foods and along with it hard to resist eating unhealthy foods.
In a study, children were found to burn fatter compared to adults. As the author of dietary fat recommendations was higher for children aged 4 to 18 (25-35 % of energy) compared with adults (20-35 % of energy).
