Relationship Between Urinary Incontinence and Physical Activity
Tuesday, February 26th, 2008Activity that involves physical movements may have a potentially advantageous and beneficial effect on the urinary incontinence prevention based on the findings on a cross-sectional survey of 676 men and women. In an extensive health interview each subject was paticipated. To estimate different levels of physical activity in each individual a self-reported single-item questionnaire was used. Using the self-administered International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire the prevalence of urinary incontinence was estimated.
