5. Root canal: Inside every tooth is the pulp, which provides the tooth with nutrients. If the pulp becomes infected, a root canal removes the infected tissue, cleans the remaining pulp and seals the tooth to prevent future problems.
6. Crown: A covering for the tooth. It can be used to hide a discolored tooth, support a weak tooth or restore a tooth’s original shape.
