Canker Sore: What is the cause?

They often break out on the movable parts of the mouth such as the inside linings of the lips, cheeks or tongue making our eating very uncomfortable because of the pain. The cause of canker sores remains a mystery; doctors cannot fully prove the cause of it but it may be triggered by stress, poor nutrition, food allergies and menstrual periods. It is not necessary to look for canker sore cure because it heals in its own within 1-3 weeks but there are treatments that hasten the healing for quick pain relief.
